First I'd like to state that Turkey shootin is a tradition of hundreds, maybe thousands of hunters. Now stating millions of hunters are flocking to the woods is a bit extreme. If you were going for that over dramatizing, then you're in the clear. i get you buddy!

You asked and answerd yer own question about calling turkeys. I beg to differ sir. A turkey is not a smart animal. It just a sheepish animal. It not going to be smart enough to diffrentalate a poor turkey call from a good one. the only thing any real turkey hunter has found to be a good combination for turkey huntin, is a good aim, and a clear shot.

As for the turkey callin competition. well, i'll just say most of these competitions are judged by past winners and callers themselves because no real hunter is gonna waste their time gettin in a circle and makin turkey noises with other men. If this is your thing to do, then by all means, you do it to the best of your ability. But sayin hunters are interested in makin silly noises, well thats just plain silly.

to any real hunters out there, if yer plannin on making turkey noises in the woods, i just ask you wear an orange vest. cause i'm not out there interested in how well i sound, but how well i shoot.
